Finance Administrator - Barbican, London

We're working with a great software development company in London. They are looking for a Finance Administrator with a strong interest in operations to manage financial reporting, invoicing, payroll, and working with external accountants.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Administration:

  • Ensure timely, accurate payments and resolve discrepancies
  • Lead weekly payment meetings with the CFO
  • Perform account reconciliations using NetSuite and Payhawk
  • Maintain the general ledger and support audits

Process Improvement:

  • Oversee invoicing, client payments, and cash flow optimisation
  • Review and streamline financial processes

Financial Operations:

  • Prepare payroll details for external accountants
  • Manage payment runs and regulatory filings (e.g., VAT returns)
  • Mitigate client financial risks

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years' experience in an accounts team
  • Actively studying or aiming to pursue AAT ACCA, or CIMA qualifications
  • Proficient in NetSuite and Google Sheets
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
