Sales Support Coordinator
The Sales Support Coordinator is a tactical, customer-facing operations role created to stabilize and streamline post-sale execution during a sales team restructuring. This newly defined position fills a process gap previously managed by Account Managers. This individual acts as an expeditor, organizer, and operational problem-solverensuring customer inquiries are resolved quickly, orders progress efficiently, and internal teams remain aligned. Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Order Coordination
Serve as the first operational point of contact for customer inquiries forwarded by Account Managers Provide order status updates, delivery confirmations, and schedule adjustments Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests via phone and email Support OEM and customer service interactions (experience may influence compensation) Expediting & Problem Resolution
Identify delays, gaps, or missing information within active orders Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, Estimating, and Shipping to ensure orders move forward Investigate and track order progress within the ERP system (Epicor) Escalate complex technical or commercial concerns to Account Managers when needed Order Entry & Reorders
Enter routine or simple reorders (no specification changes) Validate pricing, lead times, and required documentation Ensure order accuracy and maintain smooth handoff between internal teams RMA & Post-Sale Support
Initiate and track Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) Gather required documentation and coordinate with Quality and Operations Provide timely updates and resolution status to customers Internal Coordination & Process Discipline
Maintain accurate documentation and notes in the ERP system Support data accuracy, acknowledgments, and all transactional records Follow structured workflowsthis role is highly standardized and process-driven Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in manufacturing, OEM support, or operational customer service Experience supporting OEM customers Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple open items without losing details Demonstrated follow-through, organization, and accountability Critical thinking skillsability to investigate issues and "connect the dots" Stable employment history Preferred Qualifications
Experience in warehouse expediting or production coordination Previous experience within a manufacturing environment ERP system familiarity (Epicor experience is a plus but training is available) Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits
