Role Description The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high performance data platforms on Microsoft Azure. The role involves leading the development of secure, reliable, and efficient data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, and Azure Data Lake Storage. The engineer will work closely with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that support analytics, reporting, and data driven decision-making. This position requires strong expertise in cloud-based data architectures, distributed processing, and modern data engineering best practices. The Senior Data Engineer will also play a key role in establishing standards, ensuring data quality, and mentoring junior engineers. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and PySpark.
Build scalable ETL/ELT workflows integrating data from various structured and unstructured sources.
Develop and optimize data models and data transformations within Azure Synapse Analytics.
Implement incremental loads, CDC, and real-time data ingestion when needed.
