Here, you’ll utilize cutting-edge CNC machining centers for turning, milling, and grinding operations, crafting customized designs from a variety of materials including steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and bronze.

As a Skilled CNC Operator , you will work with a diverse range of multi-axis machine tools—lathes, mills, grinders, and more. Your expertise will contribute to producing high-mix customized fluid-film bearings, seals, and isolators for turbo and industrial machinery, serving customers across Europe and beyond.

• Competitive Salary:
  • £44,919.62 for a weekly rotating shift pattern (early and backshifts)
  • £52,452.37 for night shifts
• Working Hours: 37-hour work week, Monday to Friday with permanent employment contracts.

• Time-served apprenticeship in a machining discipline or SVQ/NVQ level 3 or HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience operating CNC machine tools in a lean-manufacturing environment.
• Established experience with Rotary Table Grinders, CNC Table Grinders, or 5 Axis CNC Grinders.
• Experience with multi-axis machine tools, ideally Correa and/or Doosan.
• Familiarity with machine control systems such as Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, or Haas.
• Proven ability to hold tight machining tolerances of less than .0025mm.
• Experience with precision inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges).
• Experience in power generation, oil & gas, aerospace, or similar environments is a plus.

• Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining requirements.
• Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system.
• Interpret work instructions and select proper tooling for operations.
• Calculate feeds and speeds for various materials.
• Read, understand, edit, or write complete programs.
• Perform quality inspections and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance productivity.
• Visually inspect final components and prepare them for shipment.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments for quality verification.
