This position involves a variety of tasks within the warehouse, including receiving goods, picking items for orders, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory with accuracy.
- Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking products from designated locations.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts, to move inventory.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fulfillment center, prioritizing safety.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory management processes.
- Labeling and staging outgoing shipments according to carrier requirements.
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to achieve daily fulfillment targets.
- Follow all established safety guidelines and use required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in warehousing, order fulfillment, or a similar logistics role is beneficial.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift items up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed.
