We are looking for motivated Warehouse Associates to join our Grand Rapids, Michigan facility. This role involves a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. As a Warehouse Associate, you are integral to the efficient functioning of our logistics operations and the satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, verify, and stock incoming inventory using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently (certification may be required for some equipment).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, strictly adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational targets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including adherence to safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Understand and apply best practices in logistics and warehouse management.
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep and other duties as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of consistent PPE use.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
