We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to become an integral part of our logistics operations in Provo, Utah. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse, contributing to timely order fulfillment and overall operational success. Your expertise in material handling is key to our logistics chain.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, etc.) safely and efficiently to move materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers, verifying product and quantity accuracy.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on forklifts, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with picking and put-away tasks using RF scanners or other designated equipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, adhering to all company Safety policies.
- Comply with all regulations regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Be prepared for moderate Lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs, as part of the role.
- Support the logistics team in achieving operational goals and maintaining inventory integrity.
- Contribute to a strong Safety culture within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
