Our Houston, Texas facility is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our operational team. In this vital role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. You will contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics network, ensuring that products move efficiently through our distribution center. The Warehouse Worker position requires a proactive approach to tasks, a commitment to teamwork, and adherence to strict safety standards. We are committed to providing a secure work environment and expect all employees to utilize the designated PPE . This role involves regular lifting and movement throughout the warehouse floor.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Receive, identify, and store incoming goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent stock checks.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company policies, including safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Support the overall efficiency of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Handle various products, involving frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Willingness to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE .
