Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. You will ensure accurate inventory placement, assist with order picking, and maintain organized storage areas. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, excellent maneuvering skills, and a steadfast commitment to Safety. Maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring the well-being of our staff are top priorities. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation. This role may involve some Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and requires the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key responsibilities include:
  • Operating forklifts to move pallets, racks, and other materials
  • Loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely
  • Replenishing inventory stock
  • Assisting with order picking and staging
  • Conducting daily equipment inspections and maintaining logs
  • Adhering to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures
