Our rapidly expanding logistics operation in Dallas, Texas, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dedicated team. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety standards. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, providing training, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to fostering a positive and safe work environment. Your expertise in logistics and distribution will be crucial in optimizing workflow, managing inventory, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will play a key role in implementing and enforcing safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily activities.
- Ensure all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Implement and enforce company policies and safety procedures.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum productivity.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure proper use of PPE and promote a safety-first culture.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- In-depth understanding of safety regulations and best practices, including PPE requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
