We are hiring Warehouse Workers for our busy facility in Sacramento, California. This role is critical to the effective management of our inventory and the timely fulfillment of orders. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including receiving and inspecting goods, organizing and storing inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing items for shipment. You will operate in a fast-paced logistics setting where efficiency, accuracy, and safety are paramount. Our organization maintains a strong focus on workplace safety, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected from all team members. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming stock against order documents.
- Place inventory in assigned locations, ensuring proper rotation and handling.
- Accurately pick customer orders based on order sheets or system data.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, identifying and reporting safety hazards.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and stock takes.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
