Join our growing logistics team as a Picker/Packer in sunny San Diego, California! We are looking for energetic individuals to play a crucial role in our fulfillment operations. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and meticulously packing them for shipment to our valued customers. This role is fundamental to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. You will work within a bustling warehouse environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to facilitate the picking and packing process. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is a top priority, and all team members are expected to follow strict safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). If you are a team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to a successful logistics operation, we encourage you to apply. Experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial, but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Pick products accurately based on order fulfillment requirements.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting and material handling.
- Contribute to team efforts and assist colleagues as needed.
- Report any issues or damages encountered during the picking/packing process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures is a plus.
- Adherence to safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
