As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to specific order requirements. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve items from various locations within the warehouse.
- Ensure the correct items and quantities are picked for each order.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Verify picked items against order details to maintain accuracy.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use required PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Perform tasks that may involve regular Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse Logistics and inventory management principles.
- Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, and reaching.
- Willingness to comply with all Safety regulations and wear designated PPE .
- Capable of performing moderate Lifting as required.
