We are hiring an Inventory Clerk for our Boise, Idaho location to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our stock management. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, requiring meticulous attention to detail to track, audit, and maintain inventory levels. You will work closely with the warehouse team to identify and resolve discrepancies, contributing to the overall smooth flow of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory variances.
- Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure proper organization, identification, and storage of inventory.
- Assist in the put-away and replenishment of stock.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support logistics and fulfillment operations with timely inventory information.
- Adhere to all established procedures for inventory control.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics field.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and scanning devices.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Understanding of inventory principles and best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Reliability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
