Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment.
- Move materials to and from storage areas and production lines.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management and stock placement.
- Ensure materials are properly identified, secured, and stored.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team in various warehouse tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 60 lbs, throughout the shift.
- Demonstrated understanding of safe material handling practices.
- Good physical condition, including the ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
