We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our expanding logistics operations in Denver, Colorado. This role is essential for maintaining the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all operations. You will operate various material handling equipment, assist with inventory management, and maintain a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and possesses a strong work ethic. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. Your contributions are vital to the overall success of our warehouse and supply chain. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, from unloading shipments to preparing orders for dispatch. Attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage and discrepancies.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other manual material handling equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Pick and prepare materials for internal or external distribution.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any stock discrepancies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse aisles and storage areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic material handling equipment.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Capability of Lifting up to 60 lbs on a regular basis.
- Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management concepts.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
