Job Summary:
Join our bustling warehouse in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to pick items from inventory and carefully package them for shipment, ensuring that orders are correct and arrive in perfect condition. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
  • Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packaging.
  • Package products securely and efficiently for safe transit, using appropriate materials.
  • Label packages accurately with shipping information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
  • Operate hand-held scanning devices for inventory tracking.
  • Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Must be able to handle tasks involving Lifting and carrying items up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic reading and math skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of basic logistics and order fulfillment processes.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
