A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and adherence to strict safety protocols, including the use of PPE, are essential. While this role is less physically demanding than some warehouse positions, the ability to perform occasional lifting and movement is necessary. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and identify items for replenishment or stock rotation.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with operations, receiving, and shipping teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Assist in the training of new team members on inventory procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data and generate reports.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
