Our busy fulfillment center in St. Louis, Missouri, is actively seeking Picker/Packers to join our hardworking team. This role is fundamental to our e-commerce operations, requiring precision and speed in fulfilling customer orders. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory, carefully packaging them for shipment, and ensuring they are ready for the logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before and after packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products are in good condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and Safety.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and protocols.
- Use proper Lifting techniques when handling merchandise.
- Wear all required PPE as mandated by Safety policies.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks and support team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capability for moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to follow all Safety procedures.
