We are hiring an Order Picker for our San Diego, California warehouse! As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications, using RF scanners and other warehouse technology. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to Safety. Join our team and contribute to the seamless execution of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate items in the warehouse and retrieve them efficiently.
- Ensure picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and protocols.
- Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, including some Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safety-first mindset.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse procedures.
