Join our thriving logistics operation as a Warehouse Associate in Kansas City, Missouri! This role is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving incoming shipments, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing goods for shipment. We are looking for energetic individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality. You will be an essential part of our supply chain, contributing to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to learn new processes. This position involves a significant amount of physical activity, including frequent Lifting of products up to 50 lbs. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times. We emphasize a culture of safety and provide ongoing training to ensure a secure working environment. Understanding the principles of warehouse logistics and striving for continuous improvement will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Stock and organize merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (training provided).
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
