We are looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Durham, North Carolina. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Meet or exceed picking and packing performance standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all **safety** guidelines.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all company policies, including **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include **lifting** and moving boxes.
- Ensure compliance with all **logistics** and **safety** regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to **lift** and move packages up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be committed to workplace **safety** and wear provided **PPE**.
