As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of essential tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Your role is critical to our overall logistics operations, ensuring that our products reach their destinations accurately and on time. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, which includes supplying all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforcing rigorous safety standards. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to work efficiently, and a proactive approach to tasks. You will be expected to handle various products, which involves moderate lifting, and maintain a high level of organization within your work area. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Receive, unpack, and verify merchandise against purchase orders.
- Store and organize products within the warehouse, maintaining proper stock rotation.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for transportation, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
