We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate for our Columbus, Ohio facility. This position is key to our warehouse operations, involved in various aspects of inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse duties. You will play a crucial role in supporting our extensive logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure all orders are picked and packed accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Support the broader logistics and supply chain functions of the company.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and operational knowledge.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when needed.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as required.
