We are looking for a skilled Shipping & Receiving Associate in Dallas, Texas to join our dedicated logistics team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods and the final check for outgoing shipments, ensuring precision and efficiency in all operations. Your duties will include unloading trucks, inspecting deliveries for damage or discrepancies, stocking merchandise, and accurately preparing orders for dispatch. This position demands physical stamina, as it involves frequent lifting and moving of heavy items. Responsibilities:
- Manage the receiving and dispatch of all warehouse goods.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect received products for quality and damage.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety policies, including proper PPE usage.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role is required.
- Must be capable of frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Understanding of logistics principles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
