This role demands precision, reliability, and a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trailers, transport materials within the warehouse, and assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts. Your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment is key. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas, such as storage racks, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring clear aisles and safe working conditions.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as required.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE and using proper lifting techniques.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions related to logistics and safety.
