We are hiring energetic Picker/Packers for our busy distribution center in Los Angeles, California! This is a critical role in our logistics operations, where you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You'll work with advanced warehouse technology, including RF scanners, and be part of a dedicated team focused on accuracy and throughput. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order forms.
- Utilize RF scanners and other technology to guide picking and ensure accuracy.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and ensure orders are packed securely and efficiently.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of regular lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and packing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
