Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to join our facility in Detroit, Michigan. This role is critical for the smooth operation of our warehouse and plays a vital part in our overall Logistics chain. You will be involved in a wide range of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. The ideal candidate possesses a strong commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and workplace Safety . Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring all items match purchase orders.
  • Sort, organize, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick customer orders accurately using order sheets or scanning equipment.
  • Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, managing the flow of goods efficiently.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
  • Comply with all company policies, especially those concerning Safety and security.
  • Utilize provided PPE consistently and correctly.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
  • Must be able to handle Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic understanding of inventory principles.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Awareness of and adherence to workplace safety procedures.
