Join our thriving warehouse team in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Material Handler. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the movement, organization, and management of materials within our distribution center. Your efficiency and attention to detail are key to ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly. This position involves operating various types of equipment and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and security of goods.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification as needed.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Contribute to a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Certification to operate forklifts (or willingness to obtain).
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good knowledge of warehouse operations and material flow.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
