You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, but we are keen to train enthusiastic individuals who are eager to contribute. Your duties will involve operating warehouse equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that all operations comply with company standards. Critical to this role is a commitment to safety; all associates must strictly follow established safety protocols, utilize required PPE, and practice correct lifting techniques to prevent injuries. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.
- Organize and stock products in designated warehouse areas.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification and training provided).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Perform regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of and commitment to workplace safety regulations.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
