We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our Fort Worth, Texas facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, staging materials for production or shipment, and assisting with inventory control. A strong understanding of forklift operation safety procedures is essential, and you must strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant material handling and requires the ability to perform Lifting of heavy items, often in conjunction with forklift use. You will play a key role in the efficiency and safety of our warehouse logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Certification is required, and experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for career advancement within our logistics department.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and locations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including specific forklift safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Follow safe Lifting practices for items handled manually.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
