We are seeking a motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Houston, Texas facility. This role is pivotal to our daily operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. Your primary duties will involve receiving inbound inventory, meticulously verifying quantities and quality against order documents, and preparing outbound shipments for transit. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory records, contributing to the efficiency of our logistics network. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. We are committed to fostering a safe working environment, and all team members are required to strictly follow safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and working effectively in a dynamic warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming deliveries efficiently and safely.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify against shipping manifests and purchase orders.
- Record all inventory movements, receipts, and shipments in our tracking system.
- Assemble and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team and management to optimize workflow.
- Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Comply with all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
