Seeking meticulous Picker/Packers to join our high-volume warehouse operations in San Francisco, California! This role is essential to our logistics network, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for our customers. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse, verifying their accuracy, and carefully packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are critical for maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations based on order slips or scanner data.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and securely pack items to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and other necessary documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding warehouse area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment when needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
