Join our fast-paced logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a skilled Forklift Operator! We are searching for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient movement of goods, ensuring materials are correctly stored, retrieved, and transported. This role requires precision, excellent spatial awareness, and a steadfast commitment to Safety protocols. You will be a critical link in our supply chain, ensuring the smooth flow of products. Adherence to all guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE, is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Store and retrieve inventory from designated racking locations.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse Safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing when required.
- Contribute to a productive and safe logistics environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
