We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our daily operations and ensures timely delivery to our clients. You will work closely with inventory management systems and other warehouse staff to maintain organized stock and a productive workflow. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to workplace safety. Experience with RF scanners is a plus, but comprehensive training will be provided. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and walking.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders using a pick list or RF scanner.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify order accuracy before and after picking.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to a supervisor.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient warehouse environment through proactive participation in safety procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking targets and support overall warehouse logistics .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE .
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles is beneficial.
