We are looking for a strong and reliable Material Handler to join our bustling warehouse operations in New York City, New York. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the movement and organization of materials throughout our facility. Your duties will encompass receiving, unloading, stocking, retrieving, and staging materials for production or shipment. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle a variety of materials safely and efficiently. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is highly valued. Safety is our utmost priority; you will be required to strictly follow all established Safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of provided PPE. This position involves significant manual labor, including frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 70 lbs. You will play a critical role in the overall logistics flow of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are in the right place at the right time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Move materials to and from storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Stock materials in designated locations accurately.
- Retrieve materials needed for order fulfillment or production.
- Stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Support the overall logistics and warehouse operations.
