We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications, ensuring correct quantities and item identification. This role demands a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy to meet productivity targets and maintain high customer satisfaction. You will be operating various material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and order pickers, to navigate the warehouse and retrieve items. Adherence to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines is paramount, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes and gloves. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout your shift is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and stage orders according to pick lists or system prompts.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product condition before packing or staging.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisory staff immediately.
