We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator in Boise, Idaho, to support our growing warehouse operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will play a key part in our logistics chain, ensuring materials are handled correctly and efficiently from receiving to shipping. This position demands a strong commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE, and adherence to all operational guidelines. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals to maintain productivity and a secure work environment. Your expertise in forklift operation is crucial for maintaining smooth warehouse flow and inventory accuracy. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to our success. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory control, including put-away and retrieval of products.
- Ensure accuracy in product handling and placement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support other warehouse functions as required.
Qualifications:
- Certified forklift operator with demonstrable experience.
- Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting and physical exertion.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety best practices and regulations.
- Experience with logistics and material handling.
