Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our growing team in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks related to order processing, inventory management, and material handling. You will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets, maintain a safe and orderly workplace, and ensure the accurate flow of goods. A strong understanding of logistics principles and a commitment to Safety are essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the warehouse and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
  • Organize and maintain inventory within the distribution center.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
  • Ensure the work environment is clean, safe, and organized at all times.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Utilize appropriate PPE consistently and correctly.
  • Perform tasks involving manual Lifting of goods, up to 50 lbs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Follow all procedures to ensure the integrity and Safety of all handled materials.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to warehouse activities.
  • Support the broader logistics network through efficient task completion.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to operate various types of warehouse machinery. Strong understanding of inventory control principles. Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing for long hours. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to Safety and adherence to all regulations. Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic. Understanding of basic logistics concepts is beneficial. Proper use of PPE and knowledge of safe Lifting practices are mandatory.
