Responsibilities:
- Process incoming goods, verifying contents against orders and inspecting for damage.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations, utilizing correct lifting techniques.
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners or manual pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Label and stage shipments for carrier pickup, ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas, adhering to safety standards.
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counting.
- Follow all company policies, with a strong emphasis on safety and the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring order accuracy.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Capacity to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Punctuality and a demonstrated commitment to work.
