Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations using proper lifting techniques.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and packaged.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Utilize our warehouse management system (WMS) for inventory tracking.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to PPE and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
