We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This role is integral to the smooth operation of our distribution center, handling a wide array of tasks from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be involved in stocking, order picking, packing, and maintaining the organization of our warehouse. Your efforts will directly contribute to our ability to meet customer demands on time. We place a high priority on Safety and expect all team members to be vigilant in identifying and mitigating potential hazards. This includes the mandatory use of PPE provided by the company. The role requires physical stamina, as it involves frequent Lifting and movement throughout the workday. A good understanding of warehouse Logistics is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload inventory from incoming trucks.
- Sort and place received items into designated storage locations.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in regular cycle counts and inventory checks.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and wear required PPE .
- Perform duties involving frequent Lifting and standing.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with warehouse Logistics and inventory control.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety protocols and use PPE .
