Job Summary:
Join our premier logistics operation in Los Angeles, California, as a skilled Forklift Operator. This position is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our expansive warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange inventory. Safety is paramount, and a strong commitment to adhering to all operational and safety procedures is essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
  • Stack and store materials in designated areas.
  • Transport goods to and from various warehouse sections.
  • Conduct daily pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movement.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics chain.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or demonstrated proficiency and experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Proven ability to handle significant Lifting and moving of heavy items.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be reliable and committed to excellent attendance.
