Are you looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced warehouse environment? Our facility in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support our daily logistics operations. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment or further processing. This role requires physical stamina and a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures. The ability to handle various materials and operate equipment safely is key.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials around the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Organize and stage materials for production or shipment.
- Assist in receiving and verifying incoming shipments.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following all training.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored.
- Perform routine checks on equipment for safety and maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in warehouse cleaning and organization efforts.
- Support logistics team with material movement as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required or provided).
- Experience with heavy Lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Good understanding of logistics and material flow.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a physically demanding role.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
