We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position is key to our warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials using various types of forklifts. We are looking for individuals who prioritize safety, possess excellent attention to detail, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform lifting tasks as needed. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Organize warehouse inventory and ensure proper storage.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management tasks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
- Follow all logistics and shipping schedules to ensure timely operations.
- Be prepared for frequent lifting and manual handling of goods.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current, valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial judgment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
