We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and other warehouse personnel to ensure seamless flow of goods. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach are essential. Experience with inventory management software and a solid understanding of warehouse operations are required. This position involves regular lifting of up to 50 lbs and requires the consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and records in the WMS.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Collaborate with receiving and shipping departments.
  • Monitor stock levels and recommend reorder points.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
  • Assist in the training of new inventory personnel.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related field.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
