We are hiring a Shipping Clerk for our busy Indianapolis, Indiana facility. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be instrumental in coordinating and managing the outbound flow of goods. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying order accuracy, scheduling carrier pickups, and maintaining accurate shipping records. You will work closely with our warehouse team and external shipping partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. This role demands exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to minimize errors and delays. A strong understanding of shipping procedures and carrier requirements is beneficial. Safety is paramount in our operations; you must adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and consistently wear appropriate PPE. This role involves some physical duties, including Lifting packages and moving items as needed, though not typically exceeding 30 pounds. You will be a key player in our Logistics network, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on schedule. Experience with shipping software and freight auditing is highly desirable.
