We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and dispatching materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be responsible for operating various equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification opportunities available), to move and stage materials for production or shipment. Attention to detail is paramount as you'll be tasked with inventory management, cycle counts, and reporting any discrepancies. Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace is essential to our operational efficiency and safety standards. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. You will work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless flow of materials throughout the supply chain. Understanding of basic inventory control principles is beneficial.
