Join our vibrant warehouse team as a Picker/Packer in Fort Worth, Texas! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to accurately pick and pack orders for shipment. This role is foundational to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their products correctly and on time. You will be responsible for using order sheets or scanning devices to locate items, carefully packing them for transit, and preparing them for dispatch. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong commitment to quality. This position involves a significant amount of physical activity, including Lifting and moving packages of various sizes and weights. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanner prompts.
- Inspect picked items for damage and ensure correct product and quantity.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages with shipping information and any special handling instructions.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed for moving larger items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing station and work area.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy before shipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of logistics operations is beneficial.
