Join our dedicated team as an Order Picker in Omaha, Nebraska! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders within our logistics facility. You will navigate the warehouse to pick specified items from inventory, preparing them for packing and shipment. We are seeking individuals who are highly organized, accurate, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a vital link in our supply chain and develop skills in a fast-paced logistics setting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or RF scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as directed.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks or other basic material handling equipment as needed.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals.
- Must be capable of performing tasks involving moderate Lifting, up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
